We are excited to celebrate Joshua Zhou’s first research publication, “High-Throughput Multireference Calculations of Magnetic Properties of Lanthanide Complexes.” In this work, Josh and collaborators develop an automated multireference workflow for accurately predicting the electronic and magnetic properties of lanthanide complexes. Their approach enables reliable, high-throughput calculations of ligand-field splittings, g-tensors, magnetic axes, and barriers to magnetization reversal across a diverse set of molecular magnets, paving the way for the discovery of new materials for quantum information technologies.
This work marks an exciting milestone in Josh’s research career and showcases the power of computational chemistry to advance the design of molecular magnets.
Congratulations, Josh, on this outstanding first publication!
