We are happy to welcome Matteo Spotti to the Gagliardi Group.
Matteo joins us as a graduate non-degree visiting student at the University of Chicago, where he will spend the next six months conducting research under the guidance of Professor Gagliardi.
Matteo is a PhD student in Materials Science and Nanotechnology at the University of Milano-Bicocca, where his research focuses on the theoretical and computational study of electrocatalytic processes on single-atom catalysts. He brings valuable international research experience from Germany and Poland, as well as recognition from the Bracco Imaging Scholarship and the 2026 Metrohm Graduation Award.
